As a high mileage runner, I have come to appreciate a good breakfast. While in Houston I stumbled upon a quaint little coffee shop in the "Hipster" part of town. This house of tasty treats and strong coffee goes by the name Empire Cafe. A full breakfast menu partners up with a wide selection of large portion cake slices, strong cafe drinks, and enough beer and alcohol to keep a hipster in his rightful place. I enjoyed a 3 stack of cheery pancakes, cheddar hashbrowns and a large mocha. I snapped a few pictures on my less than adequate phone camera, and then proceeded to over-edit them in Photoshop. Enjoy.
